The annual trip for Year 7 and Year 8 (Year 8 and 9 in September 2018) to Disneyland, Paris in March 2018 as part of the St. David’s Day celebrations is to go ahead again next year!
The provisional itinerary is as follows:
- Thursday 8th Depart Penllergaer Services at 20:30 and travel by executive coach to Dover for ferry to Calais.
- Friday 9th Arrive at Disneyland Paris at approx 10.00am where we will spend the day until it is time for our evening meal and book into our hotel, the Kyriad Magny le Hongre adjacent to the Disneyland Resort. Pupils have hopper tickets for the 2 day visit.
- Saturday 10th Disney parks all day (pupils will be allowed to wander around in groups).
- Sunday 11th Leave hotel after breakfast and head to Calais for return journey by shuttle. Arrive at Penllergaer around 18:00.
The cost of the trip is £325 and includes insurance and all activities mentioned in the itinerary. Pupils will be expected to pay for their own lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
If your child is interested, please complete the attached slip and return it to me by Thursday 25th May (your child will then be told if they have a space on Friday 26th). A deposit of £100 will then be required by Wednesday 7th June (to Mrs O’Sullivan, main office). Please note that deposits are not refundable. Consent forms will be sent out at a later date.
