Our school sports day will be held at the Elba playing fields on Friday 4th May. During the day pupils from years 7, 8 and 9 will be participating in a variety of activities.
We have organised for the school transport companies to bring any pupils who normally travel by bus directly to the Elba. We request that any Year 7, 8 & 9 pupils who travel to school independently, make their way directly to the Elba fields where teaching staff will be present to meet and register them.
Pupils should arrive at the Elba in their school PE kit or clothing in house colours appropriate for activities. Jeans/trousers are not allowed.
Pupils will also need to bring with them a packed lunch and plenty of water. Those pupils eligible for free school meals will have a packed lunch provided for them through school.
At the end of the day school transport will collect those pupils from the Elba who normally travel by bus. All other pupils should make arrangements to be collected or walk home.
As these activities are taking place off school site you are required to complete the attached consent form for your child and return it to school (GOFAL) by Tuesday 1st May.
Please note that should the weather forecast for the day be poor, we will announce the decision to postpone on Thursday afternoon via the school website and school social media accounts.
