Gowerton Vs Penyrheol
Today we travelled to Pontarddulais school for a triangle tournament against Pontarddulais and Penyrheol. Our team was:
C – Millie Hughes (captain)
GA – Rebecca Willet
GS – April Jones
GD – Eva Rees
GK – Eloushka Godsmark (Vice-captain)
WD – Isla Rees
WA – Ellie Pearce-Morgan
After a very accurate first centre pass from captain, Millie, followed by Rebecca, we were off to a good start. We were hen unlucky with and interception from Penyrheol which cost us our first goal. We kept going strong but at half time we were losing 2-0. However we realised we needed to take our time and slow the game down to turn it around.
The second half was a lot better. Mrs Davies congratulated us on how we kept the ball moving up the court. We improved a lot but still fell unlucky with the final score of 4-0 to Penyrheol. A big well done to Ellie for getting man of the match playing Wing Attack. We are all very happy with how we played and know how to improve for next time.
