The school’s senior sports touring party to Australia and Singapore were photographed in their new tracksuits.
The tracksuits were sponsored by eteach.com, a company that is very much a “Gowertonian” business founded by Paul Howells who, along with key Directors Rod Bowen and Stewart Roberts, are former pupils of the school. Paul said “It’s great that Gowerton school gives young people from the area the opportunity to take part in a tour that will significantly broaden their horizons and enhance their learning and development. I was lucky enough to go on the first NZ schools tour with Swansea Schools and the experience was life changing for me.”
The party consisting of 54 students and 6 staff were joined in the photo by Headteacher Mr Peter Harrison and eteach director Rod Bowen.
