FROM THE HEADTEACHER’S DESK

Autumn. The familiar turning of the seasons brings the first break of the term close – a well deserved
rest for our hard-working pupils, inparticular Year 7 who have settled so quickly and so well. The golden days of the Indian summer this September lulled us into a false sense that it would last forever. The downpours in October remind us that, as they say in Game of Thrones, “Winter is Coming”. With it, a plea, to make sure that attendance keeps high for each individual – no casual days off – and that uniform is correct – no ‘shoes got muddy’. Small steps (in maintaining standards for one) mean large improvements overall for the community.
