1515 hrs Meet at LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT, Terminal 3, where a representative from Edwin Doran Sports Tours will meet you.
1520 hrs Latest check to time Cathay Pacific flight CX250 to HONG KONG.
1820 hrs Flight departs.
Overnight in flight.
Tuesday 23 July
1310 hrs Arrival Hong Kong and clear Immigration and Passport Control, collect your luggage and pass through Customs.
Meet your coach outside the Terminal Building and transfer to the YMCA Salisbury of Hong Kong where you will stay be for two nights on a bed and continental breakfast basis.
The rest of the day is free to begin to explore Hong Kong, perhaps to visit Stanley Market. Stanley is a small seaside settlement on the south side of Hong Kong Island, with some fine beaches and waterfront restaurants.
Wednesday 24 July
Breakfast in the hotel.
This morning a training session could be set up for you (transfer and pitch hire would cost approximately £18.00–20.00 per person), before perhaps enjoying a half-day sightseeing tour (approximately £16.00 per person).
In the afternoon meet your coach at the hotel and transfer to play your first hockey and netball games of the tour.

Return to the hotel in the evening.
Thursday 25 July
Breakfast in the hotel.
The morning is free for sightseeing.

1230 hrs On arrival warm up for your match.

Friday 26 July
1105 hrs Arrive Sydney Airport and clear Australian Immigration and Passport Control, collect your luggage and pass through Customs.
Meet your coach for the transfer to The Menzies Sydney for a one night stay on a bed and cooked breakfast basis.
This evening it may be possible, subject to fixture schedules and ticket availability, to watch a Trans-Tasman netball game.
Saturday 27 July
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check out and arrange to leave your bags with reception.
This morning enjoy sightseeing, on foot, perhaps to visit the Rocks area, the birthplace of the country, now restored to its original state, with cobbled streets, gas lamps, and tiny restaurants, where you can sample some Australian cuisine in one of Sydney’s most sophisticated areas.
You could also visit David Campese’s Canterbury Store that carries the full Australian Rugby Union range of licensed merchandise.
Later in the day return to the hotel to collect your bags.
1500 hrs Board your coach and transfer to MATER MARIA COLLEGE who will have organised a three night billeted stay.
1600 hrs Expected arrival time at Mater Maria College.
Once the students have dispersed with their hosts. The staff will then be transferred to the Newport Arms Hotel where they will spend the next three nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Sunday 28 July
Free day in the company of your hosts.
Monday 29 July
Staff will have breakfast in their hotel and transfer to the school to meet the girls.
This morning is available to continue sightseeing.
You may wish to visit the Northern Beaches where you will see some of the locations used while filming “Home & Away”.
1100 hrs The hockey girls will transfer to Ryde Astroturf and the rugby and netball teams will continue to the school.

Tuesday 30 July
Staff will have breakfast in their hotel and transfer to the school to meet the girls.
0830 hrs Say goodbye to your hosts.
0900 hrs Board your coach and transfer to Cicular Quay near the Opera House.
1030 hrs Meet at the Eastern Pontoon, Circular Quay for a 30 minute HARBOUR JETBOAT RIDE which is a fun way to see some of the harbour sights.
1100 hrs Departure 1 with 17 passengers
1130 hrs Departure 2 with 16 passengers
1200 hrs Departure 3 with 16 passengers
Lunch (own expense).
1330 hrs Meet your coach at The Roacks and transfer to your second set of hosts who will have arranged a two night billeted stay.
The girls will transfer to ASCHAM SCHOOL, the boys will transfer to NEWINGTON COLLEGE
Once the students have dispersed, staff will be transferred to the Vibe Hotel for a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Wednesday 31 July
Staff will have breakfast in their hotel and transfer to the schools to meet the students.
The morning is free for local sightseeing.
Return to your host schools to prepare for your next set of matches.

BOYS
0800 hrs After breakfast staff will check out of their accommodation and meet up with the boys.
0830 hrs Depart Newington College, transfer to the Menzies Hotel to meet the girls. You will need to unload your luggage on the footpath and repack the girls coach which will continue onto TAMWORTH.
GIRLS
0800 hrs Staff will be picked up from the Vibe Hotel and transferred to Ascham to pick up the girls.
0830 hrs Depart Ascham, transfer to the Menzies Hotel to pick up the boys and transfer to TAMWORTH.
Stop for lunch en route (Own expense).
tba hrs On arrival, meet your hosts from CALROSSY ANGLICAN SCHOOL, who will look after you for the next three nights.
Staff will be transferred to the Best Western Tamworth, where they will stay for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Friday 02 August
Staff will have breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the schools to meet the students.
0900 hrs Assemble at WILLIAM COWPER CAMPUS.
This morning you will have a coach available for sightseeing.
You may wish to visit Aussie Bush Leather, an Australian-made and owned manufacturing, wholesale and retail company that specializes in quality Australian leather products. You could also visit the Golden Guitar tourist centre, which is a tribute to Tamworth’s Country Music Heritage, and the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre.
Boys will transfer to William Cowper Campus and girls to the Tamworth Hockey Centre to prepare for your matches.

Staff will have breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the schools to meet the students.
0900 hrs After saying goodbye to your hosts, board your coach and head north to SUNSHINE COAST.
1700 hrs On arrival, meet your hosts from MATTHEW FLINDERS COLLEGE who will look after the students for the next three nights.
1800 hrs Students will go home with their host families and staff will transfer to the Caribbean Resort where they will stay on a room only basis.
Monday 05 August
0800 hrs Staff will have breakfast near the hotel and transfer to the school to meet the students.
0900 hrs Board your coach and transfer to Underwater World.
Situated at Mooloolaba Wharf, just moments from the main Esplanade, UnderWater World is home to thousands of animals, including sharks, seals, turtles, stingrays, otters, sawfish, tropical fish and much, much more.
1400 hrs Return to the school.
Students will head home with their hosts and staff will return to their hotel.
Tuesday 06 August
0800 hrs Staff will have breakfast near the hotel and transfer to the school to meet the students.
0900 hrs Board your coach and transfer to Australia Zoo.
Home of Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter, at Australia Zoo you can cuddle a koala, hand-feed our Asian Elephants, walk with a Sumatran Tiger and watch a crocodile launch from the water’s edge. Australia Zoo is the ultimate wildlife adventure
1400 hrs Return to the school to prepare for your matches.
In the afternoon play them in the last matches of the tour.

Wednesday 07 August
After breakfast, staff will check out of their hotel and transfer to the schools to meet the students.
0700 hrs Say goodbye to your hosts and transfer to BRISBANE AIRPORT where you will check in to your flight CX103 to CAIRNS.
0915 hrs Flight departs.
1140 hrs Arrive Cairns Airport and transfer to the Cairns Colonial Club for the final three nights of the tour on a bed and continental breakfast basis.
Settle in and unpack, and you may wish to spend the early evening exploring the Cairns foreshore, which has been transformed from a tidal mudflat swamp into a world-class facility. Here you will find an outdoor amphitheatre, a large sandy swimming lagoon, grassy picnic areas, walking tracks, public barbeques, children’s playground, shops and restaurants, an environmental interpretation centre and a Great Barrier Reef Cruise departure terminal.

A suggestion for you today would be to undertake a half-day whitewater rafting trip on the Barron River (approximately £70.00 per person), located approximately a 20 minute drive north of Cairns and find out why the Barron’s Rapids have names such as ‘Rooster Tail’, ‘Cheese Churn’ and ‘Hell’s Gate’!
Another suggestion for today would be to undertake the Kuranda Experience (approximately £116.00 per person), which combines Skyrail, Rainforest and a return train ride. The Skyrail takes you on an amazing experience over Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest Cableway.

An option for today is to enjoy an excursion to the Great Barrier Reef (approximately £84.00 per person). Board a 22m air-conditioned catamaran for the journey to the Reef – enjoy five hours at Marine World on the Outer Reef, unlimited snorkeling (all equipment supplied), an informative reef presentation with Marine Naturalist
Saturday 10 August
Breakfast at the hotel.
0930 hrs Check out of your hotel and return to CAIRNS AIRPORT.
1000 hrs Recommended check in time to flight CX102 to HONG KONG.
1300 hrs Flight departs.
1755 hrs Arrive Hong Kong Airport and connect with flight CX251 to LONDON.
2355 hrs Flight departs.
Overnight in flight.
Sunday 11 August
0540 hrs Arrive London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3, and clear UK Immigration and Passport Control, collect your luggage and pass through Customs. Disperse for home (own arrangements for getting to/from London Heathrow Airport).
