Gowerton School would like to invite parents of year 6 pupils to attend a series of meetings/events to learn more about the school.
The first two events will be this half term:
June 13th – 4.30pm – 6pm
A chance to meet the Headship Team, Chair of Governors and some year 7 pupils. There will also be a short tour of the school and information given regarding various aspects of the school.
June 27th – 4.30pm – 6pm
There will be short talk on the curriculum and ‘taster lessons’. Information will be given regarding extra curricular opportunities and trips offered at Gowerton.
There will be other similar meetings in September and October. We believe ‘parent voice’ is important and these events will give plenty of opportunity for questions and feedback.
This is a new initiative and we hope to develop this forum further in the future.
