As we approach the ‘last lap’ can I thank you for all the support over the past five years – very much appreciated. If we can keep our children focused and working at home and at school for the next month and a half, we can expect success.
Our experience over a prolonged period has shown us that pupils who undertake proper, structured revision are most likely to achieve their potential. With this in mind, we are providing a mix of study, revision and taught packages over the next month and a half. Whenever there is an exam, there will be special ‘pre-exam’ sessions of 45 minutes to focus and revisit important points for that exam. These will start at 8.30 a.m. for morning sessions and 12.00 midday for afternoon sessions.
A copy of our GCSE 2016 Revision Time-table is available to view both below and on our website under the Examinations menu of the Curricular tab on our homepage. Please keep an eye out for this as it may be updated regularly. Teachers will be available as usual for personal tuition for pupils not in an exam – this is ‘core’ revision. Where there is ‘special revision’, then staff will be providing an opportunity to revise the named subject in a learning environment in a structured way.
