At Gowerton School we have always held a Service of Remembrance on the Friday before Remembrance Sunday. This year due to the Covid 19 Pandemic we are unable to hold this event. Instead we have created a ‘virtual service.’ Our year 7 & 8 pupils in school have watched the assembly and now we share it with you to enable the whole school community to remember those that have given their lives in war.
As the British Legion have been unable to sell poppies this year to raise funds, we have set up a ‘Just Giving’ page to allow people to donate. We have received a large number of donations already, but it’s not too late to donate:
