Each of year groups has now had the opportunity to a day at school.
Thanks to all pupils, parents and staff for their support in making this possible.
We are developing a ‘blended approach’ to teaching and learning. So far we feel this is working very well and we thank everyone for embracing this new approach.
The mixture of live lessons, live streamed, recorded and set tasks is working well. Rest assured we are all working extremely hard to get the best possible experience for our pupils in these difficult and unusual times.
Teachers will contact pupils if there is going to be a live streamed lesson during the ‘home learning time’. They will contact pupils through their class team.
Pupils that have been able to attend school have been respecting the new ‘2m social distancing rules’ and have understood the need for regular washing of hands and use of sanitizer.
Please remember to wash clothing on returning from school.
Year groups that have not yet had a report (years 7,8 and 10) will be receiving a one page summary report before the end of term.
For the next 2 weeks we will be continuing with the same format of timetable and blended teaching and learning.
We are still awaiting news from Welsh Government regarding the format for September. Once we are given guidelines and information we will update parents.
Thank you again for your support during lockdown.
Please contact us via phone if you have any questions. The school number is (01792) 873461.
Stay safe and well.
