UPDATE FOR PARENTS – COVID-19 – 20/3/2020
As of 3pm today Gowerton School has closed and will be re-purposed as an ‘Emergency Childcare Centre’ until further notice.
The North Gower Partnership has had to prioritise childcare facilities for NHS staff and Blue Light Emergency workers in the first instance. We will review this provision regularly. As we have stated previously, we are dealing with an unprecedented situation which is constantly evolving. We are striving to keep up with the developments to ensure that all of our school community is informed and aware of how we are planning to manage this crisis.
All pupils should have access to work and if there are issues could you please contact the school via email and we will reply as soon as possible. To those pupils who should have sat external exams this summer, we will continue to closely monitor the procedures established by the examination boards. Below you will find a letter with the latest information sent to schools and we are in communication to a find a fair and equitable solution for all pupils.

To our year 11 and 13 we understand this is not the way we wanted you to finish your time here but remember you will always be Gowertonians and we are proud of all you have contributed to school life. We will look forward to a time in the near future when together we can celebrate your achievements.
