Perfformiad eithriadol ond buddugoliaeth yn cael ei ddwyn ar y diwedd.
Impressive performance but victory snatched at the end.
Gowerton continued with their confident start to the season when they played T.Topz in their third Sunday league fixture at the Playfootball centre in Treboeth.
Katie Davies and Kiani Ecclestone were looking forward to the challenge.
After victory in the first two they were in confident mood and started strongly with the centre court players of Sarah Wedlake, Alycia Carpanini and player of the match Zowie Martin working tirelessly to create opportunities for Goal Attack Georgina Jones and Goal Shooter Kiani Ecclestone. In defence Goal Keeper Katie Davies was as reliable as ever and the T.Topz shooters found it difficult to create shooting oppotunities
The game was very much cut and thrust with both teams taking their chances and at the break Gowerton trailed 6-5.
In the second half, Gowerton were quickly on the offensive and with Georgina and Kiani finding their shooting range Gowerton raced into a 9-7 lead.
Kiani and Georgina look on eagerly-Will it go in?
It looked as if Gowerton would go on to win, but unsurprisingly they tired in the final quarter (Alycia had taken part in the 10 mile tour sponsored walk in the morning). T.Topz took advantage and won the quarter 7-2 to emerge as the winners, but Miss Rushworth was still very pleased with another impressive team performance.
Sarah Wedlake looks to pass to a supporting player.
