12 pupils from years 7 to 12 attended the Urdd swimming gala in Neath Leisure Centre. Pupils competed in individual and relay events. All pupils performed extremely well and represented the school very well with impeccable behaviour, effort and attitude all day. Many of our students came first and will now compete for Swansea/Neath Port Talbot in the National Urdd Gala in Cardiff in January 2018.
– Dairhys Leckonby (yr 7) will compete in the 100m backstroke.
– Jessica Dickinson (yr 8) will compete in the 100 m butterfly and breaststroke.
– Antonio Rodriguez (yr 9) will compete in the 100m freestyle and 100 I.M.
– Raffi Richards (yr 9) will compete in the 100m breaststroke.
– Heather Wheel (yr 12) will compete in the 100m backstroke
– Lastly our year 7/8 girls relay team will compete in the 200m freestyle relay –
pob lwc Nia Owen, Rebecca Owen-Gambell, Rosie Meredith and Jessica Dickinson!
