Notice for parents / pupils.
Thank you all for your support, understanding and hard work during this unique year!
We hope everyone in our school community can have a relaxing and enjoyable Summer holiday.
During the holidays, pupils will not need to do the Lateral Flow Test but should do the test on the morning of Monday 6th September. This is the first day for years 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13. Pupils will go straight to form rooms where they will spend the first 2 hours organising timetables and reinforcing school expectations.
The school office is open from 9am – 2pm throughout the holidays if LFT kits are required.
Year 7 and year 12 pupils should return to school on Friday 3rd September.
For September we are still awaiting further details regarding Covid-19 Safety expectations. An updated risk assessment will be finalised during the holidays and published on the website. We can confirm that the cashless ‘top up’ machines will be operating again from September.
Please note that during the holidays the website has a selection of wellbeing advice for our school community.

Reminder re. Uniform
Please use the 6 weeks holiday to ensure that uniform is bought in preparation for the return to school in September. A reminder of uniform can be accessed here – http://gowerton.com/uniform/
Pupils should not wear jogging trousers. For PE there are new tracksuit trousers and leggings available with the school badge. Our suppliers Bergoni and J&S have all the uniform requirements.
We would like to start the new academic year with an excellent standard of uniform and a renewed enthusiasm for learning.
