Pupils should come to school in casual, comfortable clothes ready to go on the bus later in the day .
All bags should be brought to D2 where they will be securely stored until lunchtime, when we leave.
Pupils will be attending lessons 1 ,2 & 3. They should bring books for the lessons they have that morning and ask the teacher politely if they will keep the books until the next lesson rather than taking them to Llangrannog and possibly losing them.
At the end of lesson 3 – 12:10 please should come to the canteen for an early lunch, food will be available to buy, or pupils can eat their packed lunch.
The first meal at Llangrannog will be at 6 pm therefore pupils will need to eat or bring packed lunch and maybe a snack for mid-afternoon if they are likely to get hungry.
Any medication needs to be clearly labelled with the pupil’s name in a clear plastic bag and handed in to staff on the bus for safe keeping (apart from blue asthma inhalers which pupils should keep on them.)
Please remind pupils they need plenty of warm, waterproof clothes and old shoes or wellies. Hat, gloves etc would also be useful as we will be outdoors a lot of the time. There may be a disco on the Saturday night so a smarter outfit could be brought for this if they want to.
All pupils need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow case.
No expensive electronic devices such as Nintendo Switch/Airpods etc should be brought. Pupils are not encouraged to bring a phone but if they do this is at their own risk, and they will need to look after it. There are plenty of landlines at Llangrannog and we can arrange for pupils to use these if they don’t have a phone and need to contact you.
All pupils will need a lift home on Sunday 15th, please could parents be at Park Road bus bay by 3pm for a prompt handover. Please leave us plenty of room for 2 coaches to be able to unload pupils and luggage safely.
Any queries please contact Mrs A. King or Mr R. Hall-Richards
