The Welsh Department is offering the opportunity for Year 7 Pupils to attend a weekend residential trip to the Urdd Camp at Llangrannog. The date of the weekend will be Friday 13th January – Sunday 15thJanuary 2023.
The price for the weekend will be £165. This sum includes travel and membership of the Urdd (£10) for the year 2022-2023. All meals and activities are included during the weekend at camp.
The aim of the weekend is to give pupils the opportunity to enjoy themselves in a welsh environment, as well as taking part in a number of different activities such as swimming, pony trekking, skiing, tobogganing, trampolining, go-karting, rope courses, zip-wires and quad biking.
If your child would like to attend the trip, a deposit of £65 will be required to secure a place. This deposit will be required by Friday 23rd September. Please note deposits are non-refundable. We do have a limited number of spaces, therefore, once these spaces have been filled we will be unable to allocate further spaces. Any extra names will be placed on a reserve list incasesome pupils drop out or change their minds.
Cheques to be made payable to Gowerton School and placed in an envelope with your child’s name and form clearly labelled. Please take all deposits to the finance office in A block. Please be aware the final instalment of £100 will be required before Christmas.
