Urdd Camp at Glan-Llyn, North Wales 22nd – 24th September 2017
The Welsh department is offering the opportunity for your son/daughter, currently in year 8 to attend a weekend residential trip to the Urdd Camp at Glan-Llyn in North Wales. The date of the weekend will be 22nd – 24th September 2017.
The price for the weekend will be £162. This includes travel and membership of the Urdd for the year 2017/2018. All food and activities at the camp are included in the cost of the trip.
The aim of the weekend is to give pupils the opportunity to enjoy themselves in a welsh environment, as well as taking part in a number of different activities such as sailing, canoeing, rowing, bowling, roller-blading, climbing wall and adventure course.
If your child is interested in attending the trip, a non refundable deposit of £50 will be required to secure a place by Monday 7th June. Places are limited therefore places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Could all cheques be made payable to Gowerton School and placed in an envelope with your child’s name and form clearly labelled and given to Mrs Y O’Sullivan in the main office. Please be aware the final installment of £112 will be required early September.
