In the match on Wednesday afternoon it was a cold, rainy game against Brynteg School. We had Year 9 and Year 10, we played well as a team and had very good sportsmanship towards others. Congratulations to the girls who played, we won 5-0, well done to Zoe Charlesworth, Emily James and Aaliyah Jones, all got goals in the win.
In the first half we played 20 minutes, and Zoe Charlesworth scored 3 goals to make it 3-0 to Gowerton. We dominated them. We could of communicated a bit better with each other but overall a good start to the game. Our goalkeeper made a few good saves which helped us to keep a clean sheet.
In the second half we managed to keep a clean sheet with a 2-0 score with Emily James and Aaliyah Jones having a goal each. We communicated a lot better in the second half and kept the ball.
So overall a very good performance from all of the girls, and thank you to Mrs Smitham for organizing it and a big thank you to Mr Jones for taking us down to the Elba.
