A massive well done to 8E this term for successfully taking part in First Give and supporting a local foodbank: The Pantry.
As a team they managed to advertise for their chosen charity to raise awareness of the difficulties of food poverty in the Swansea area.
Pictured below were our team that took part in the First Give final with John Ellwood, a representative from The Pantry.
In total, 8E were able to advertise and donate:
- £30 in cash
- Three HUGE bags/boxes of food
- Two bags of sanitary products to tackle period poverty
A fantastic effort from all involved, and a special thank you to The Pantry for taking the time to visit and discuss the exceptional work that they do!
