Pupils are asked to wear an item of Christmas clothing for £1 which will be donated to ‘The Roots Foundation Wales’ based in Ravenhill, Swansea.
They provide support, assistance and advice for young people who have recently left care. They offer workshops on finance, cooking, budgeting, health, employment, relationships and parenting.
It is not a non-uniform day – pupils can wear something with a Christmas theme or they must wear school uniform.
