Following a period of consultation with staff, governors, pupil and parent forums, from Monday 17th June we will be changing the format of the school day. Please note that initially this will be for a trial period until the end of the Summer Term. If successful, we will continue in September and will notify of this.
Schools hours will remain 8.30 to 3.00pm with the new structure of the day as follows:
We hope that the new ‘form period’ will allow pupils to access help with homework, utilise resources where needed as well as participate in the usual form time and assemblies.
Please note that the main school gates will continue to be closed to vehicles during lunch and breaktimes.
End of term arrangements
Whilst writing, we would like to remind you that school finishes for the Summer holidays at 3pm on Friday 19th July (Monday 22nd July is an INSET day). Lessons will continue as normal until Wednesday 17th July, Sports Day will take place on Thursday 18th July and activities will be arranged for Friday 19th July.
