Please see the letter from the Minister for Education that has been sent out to schools today.
In summary, schools will have 2 planning days at the start of term – Tuesday 4th January and Wednesday 5th January meaning that Pupils will return to school on THURSDAY 6th JANUARY. If there are any changes to these arrangements, we will keep parents/carers updated as quickly as possible.
Can we also remind parents/pupils of the importance of wearing a face mask. New guidance recommends that staff and pupils increase the use of lateral flow tests to 3 times/week on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. We have plenty of test kits available from the main office or Gofal in school and ask that pupils please test before returning to school January.
